Bill Crothers Secondary School opened in Markham in August 2008. The school is a unique, character-focused learning environment for students who are motivated by sport, athletics and the pursuit of healthy, active living. Admission is by application and is open to students in grades 9 to 12, throughout York Region. Applications for the school year 2011 - 2012 will be available online as of November 10, 2010.
